As we step off the train at the station, our first surprise awaits us - a captivating display of vintage locomotives from Germany and its neighboring countries. The sight of these majestic trains will transport us back in time and evoke a sense of awe.
During previous events, attendees were treated to the breathtaking beauty of locomotives such as the Bavarian S 3/6, renowned for its elegance, the iconic BR 01 with its striking Wagner smoke deflectors, the versatile BR 75 accompanied by a delightful commuter train, and the formidable F series. Additionally, the exhibition featured a fascinating array of electric and diesel locomotives, each with its own unique charm and significance.
To make the most of our Märklin Days experience, We highly recommend embarking on the factory tour on the first day itself. This exclusive opportunity is available only on Friday and Saturday. By taking this tour, we will have the privilege of witnessing firsthand the craftsmanship and innovation that go into creating Märklin's renowned model trains. Some of you may want to spend more time observing all the locomotives which is fine however to ensure that you don't miss out on the factory tour we recommend taking the factory tour early in our itinerary. Today, we will return to Göppingen by train, and the day holds a multitude of highlights beyond the museum and factory. For a unique adventure, a vintage railbus awaits to transport you to the renowned track construction company, Leonhard Weiss.

Take your time to browse through the stalls, as you may stumble upon unique treasures or find inspiration for your own collection.
In addition to the vendors, numerous train clubs have brought their meticulously crafted layouts to be admired. Today's adventure takes us aboard the sleek and efficient ICE train as we journey to Ulm. For those in the group who enjoy a sporty challenge, there is an opportunity to ascend the tower's 768 steps. Scaling this architectural marvel rewards climbers with breathtaking views from the top. However, if you've already conquered this feat in the past, you may choose to skip the exercise this time around and simply admire the tower from the ground.
